Thrifting

I've noticed so many people lately hopping on the thrifting train. I really love the idea of thrifting but I don't think I have very good luck at it. Maybe part of it is that I get very easily overwhelmed at big stores like Goodwill. Even when I do take my time though I never seem to find anything. The only place I've really ever found anything is at Plato's Closet and it's been a while since I've even found anything there. I don't know how people find such beautiful pieces when I can't find anything at all! Maybe I should go more often, I know they put new stuff out all the time. Or maybe it's because I live in such a big metro area and everyone else gets to the good stuff before me, lol. Hopefully I'll have better luck in my hometown the next time I go back :]

Does anyone have any good thrifting secrets?

Running errands today and a little bit of shopping. Marshall's got me today like it always does. I came out with a beautiful Ralph Lauren sweater that I can't believe I found in a size small. The things I really love seem to always run out in my size before I can even blink. I also found this really pretty black Tommy Hilfiger purse. I'm really not into black in my wardrobe, but I've been trying to kind of be more open. Plus this was the first black purse that has ever really spoken to me, so I had to have it! There is just something about Tommy Hilfiger purses. I have three at this point and I just love them. They are so simple and classic, which is what I'm all about.

Frye Boots

I have a serious obsession with Frye boots. I got my first pair last year and now I am head over heels in love. I ended up choosing the Melissa Button.
Holy crap are these boots amazing! They are SOOO comfortable and look good with everything. I think I wore them almost every day last fall/winter. I felt bad for my other boots! I have my eyes on two other pair of Frye boots right now. The first is the Melissa Trapunto and the second is the Paige Tall Riding.

They're both so beautiful. I'm not drooling over them as much as I was the Melissa Button though, so I think I'll hold off for right now. Plus, I just received the Ralph Lauren Jenessa and have the Aldo Biesinger on the way, so I think I need to control myself, lol!

School day. I had a psych exam, yikes! Then I had a date with my chiropractor. I'm so glad my boyfriend introduced me to the world of alignments, because my back is thanking me!
